Jorge Calleja Barrett (Dealer Principal, President)

Jorge Calleja Barrett has a double Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.

After graduating, his love for exotic automobiles soon grabbed hold, Jorge started working with the Barrett Motor Cars family, Jorge quickly climbed the ranks from Sales Person to F&I director, then General Sales Manager for the Ferrari, Maserati, Lotus and Jaguar franchises. Through determination and perseverance, Barrett Motor Cars was awarded a new Jaguar/Land Rover/Volvo point in the Rio Grande Valley area, and Jorge served as General Sales Manager and F&I director for all three franchises. The operation was extremely successful under his leadership. They were able to obtain the “Pride of Jaguar” award and the “Land Rover Pinnacle” award which is only given to the top national performers that maintain exceptional sales, service, and CSI scores.

In 2007, Jorge launched a highly-successful exotic, classic and high end pre-owned sales venture. To date, Barrett Auto Gallery has cornered the exotic and luxury pre-owned sales market in the Rio Grande Valley area which they are currently located in the San Juan, TX area. Having a large dealer network created through the years, Jorge has been able to satisfy the needs and wants of his local customer base and expand to sell vehicles all over the world. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Barrett Auto Gallery has a great reputation in the Rio Grande Valley, participating in different car clubs, toys for tots, local car shows and many other local events.
